if i were to die tomorrow, how many people would be at my wake?
if i were to be hospitalized for an illness so severe, how many people would be at my bedside?
if i were to be married, how many people would want to be there to see me at one of the happiest days of my life?
if i were to ask for someone to stay with me at my lowest moment, how many people would put aside what they were doing to do that for me?
if i were to cry without warning, how many people would care enough to ask why and actually take the time to listen?
if i were to stop speaking, how many people would notice?
if i were to leave tomorrow for a faraway place, how many people would miss me?
probably not many. because i haven't been the most exceptional person in the world.
